This role's primary function as a PM is to manage a desktop software request from initiation to successful delivery as an end-to-end process. The process to introduce software into the environment and have it made available on a user workstation entails a process that has multiple tasks based on the type of software requested.


 


 The candidate will also be assigned with projects to investigate gaps in the software approval process, analyze requirements to increase efficiencies, collaborate with external teams on new implementations that impact the desktop environment and essentially lead efforts to meet team goals that summarizes to enhance the customer experience for the services they seek. This role requires the candidate to have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.


 


 It's a fast paced work environment needing to manage multiple projects with varying priorities. Experience with desktop migrations, customer support, software/system implementations, SDLC, business analysis, knowledge of software procurement software license management, collaborating with multiple teams, managing multiple projects, tight timelines are a plus.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:



  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of IT Project Management experience

  • 5+ years of working hands-on with all aspects of the System Development Life Cycle

  • 5+ years of data gathering/analysis and writing system requirements

  • Experience working with test plans and test cases

  • Experience facilitating Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Proficiency with MS Office (Including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)

  • Proficiency with MS Project

  • Proficiency with MS Visio

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

  • Healthcare Industry experience
