The Time Warner Cable Corporate office currently seeks a Business Intelligence Analyst for our NOC & Operations Support (NOS) group . Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.

Position Summary
The Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst will be responsible for the development and production of regularly scheduled and ad hoc analysis in support of improving performance of the NOC and operational support. Additionally, the BI Analyst will be responsible for working with business partners across multiple operating teams to gather requirements and enlist key contributors to develop & implement project plans to improve overall performance in the timeframe established by leadership. The BI Analyst routinely interacts with key personnel (up to and including Executive Management) to meet the NOS objectives and goals of improving data and process integrity around operational performance.

Essential Job Functions:

- Collects, processes, and analyzes historical data derived from disaggregated sources such as network usage tools, customer databases and ticketing systems

- Ensures the overall efficiency of reporting across business units; continually reviews quality and ensures data integrity for all presentations

- Interviews business users to obtain data requirements for analytic applications

- Ability to prepare " what if " scenarios using historical data to characterize future behavior or consumption

- Responsible for the oversight of the planning, development, and execution of schedules by the team to ensure the goals of improving performance of the NOC and their effective and efficient operational support to customers

- Owns project stakeholder relationships and communicates regularly with project stakeholders and management; manages expectations re: scope, timeline and deliverables

- Establishes, owns, and leads project communication forums both vertically and horizontally across project scope

Job Requirements:

- Demonstrated ability to synthesize and aggregate large amounts of information; derive strategic trends and insights for thoughtful, articulate point-of-views and executive-level presentations

- Very knowledgeable in project management, business analytics, report generation methods, data communication and transaction based processing

- Prepare and present quantitative information in a professional format that is easy to interpret.

- Understand analytical metrics and apply mathematics to business problems

- Leadership skills and demonstrated ability to effectively manage complex and lengthy assignments involving diverse employee base in an organization of comparable size and scope.

- Strong decision making skills and ability to plan and execute initiatives

- Strong interpersonal skills necessary to work in a professional, cooperative manner to

- Excellent analytical, written and oral communications skills are essential.

- Very experienced in relational database technologies and data modeling tools (Access, SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle). Proficient in SQL.

- Expert use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), Project, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

- 5+ years MSO or Telco experience

- Familiarity with ITIL a plus

- Experience with ticketing systems such as Remedy

- Excellent data analysis skills, problem solving skills attention to detail and focus on data accuracy

- Extremely organized and possess strong presentation skills

- Experience with gathering and charting technical requirements

- Excellent planning, coordination skills

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor ' s degree with an information technology or business analytics focus preferred

- 5+ years project management experience required

- 5+ years years data analyst experience required

- 5+ years in depth experience using Project, Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Travel Requirements:
Minimal-less than 10%
