Hardscape Crew Leader

Our client, a leader in the landscaping industry located in Westfield, needs Hardscape Landscapers to join their crews. Crew members will help construct or install hardscape features and brick pavers. The landscape crew is responsible for delivery or installation. Direct the 2-3 man crew on hardscape projects. Your focus is to provide quality service to assure a high level of customer satisfaction. During your assignment you will have access to benefits that can include medical, dental, vision, life, 401k, holiday pay, and earned vacation time. DUTIES: * Accurately Complete Paperwork for each site * Customer Service Skills * Operating Equipment like Bobcats, Trailers, etc. * Planting Trees, Shrubs, Flowers * Spreading Mulch * Tree and Shrub Pruning * Finish Grading * Laying Sod and Edging * Fertilization * Brick Paver and Retaining Wall Installation * Excavation * Trenching QUALIFICATIONS: * At least 2 years of experience as a Crew Leader. * This position does require the ability to lift, stoop, bend, reach, work in a fast-paced environment, work in various weather conditions. Must be able to lift 3 pound bricks all day and have an understanding of the layout and design of the project. * Safety of employees and customers must be kept in mind at all time. All vehicles and equipment will be operated in a safe manner at all times. It is expected that proper lifting techniques be used to minimize injuries. * Need to demonstrate cooperation, commitment, communication & contribution, in addition to the expectations listed above. * Any crew member using a vehicle or equipment will be accountable for the condition and location of the vehicle or equipment. * Team members are expected to be reliable, punctual, pleasant, open-minded, flexible, creative, and work in a team environment. * Team members are expected to work well with their fellow team members, and provide outstanding customer service.
