Insurance Sales Agent- Property and Casualty - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek is looking for qualified candidates to represent Aerotek as an Insurance Sales Agent. Below is the job description and qualifications for the position:

Job Description:

• Answer customer calls inquiring about property and casualty insurance lines of business including Homeowners, Condo, Renters, Flood, Auto and Personal Umbrella.
• Exceed weekly, monthly and annual sales goals.
• Generate sales via inbound and outbound calls.
• Simultaneously work with multiple systems/software.
• Ability to navigate and enter data in computer systems accurately and in an efficient manner.
• Create cross sell opportunities by offering additional lines of insurance; creating an insurance package for each caller.
• Learn and understand underwriting guidelines with Property, Auto and Liability carriers.
• Demonstrate superior product knowledge and possesses the ability to show customers the value of our agency versus other brokerage or captive agencies or buying direct from a carrier.
• Promote, recommend, and demonstrate the value of plans based on a logical relationship to the customer's needs and interests.

Qualifications:

• Experience selling in a retail, business-to-business, inside and/or outside sales, or any experience cross-selling products
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and must be able to articulate well over the phone
• Must want a long term sales driven opportunity
• 4-40 License, highly preferred but not required
• Candidates who do not have a 4-40 license prior to starting the assignment will be responsible for paying the upfront costs of obtaining the license, totaling $400, and will fully be reimbursed after successfully completing the specified amount of time agreed upon
