We are looking for kind, caring and compassionate individuals who can provide outstanding customer service at a leading healthcare center. In this position, you will be responsible for responding to and deescalating all crisis situations (coded responses, disturbances, arguments and disagreements) within the Medical Center. Candidates must be comfortable with providing physical assistance to law enforcement officials and clinical staff when called upon, including but not limited to assistance with combative or psychiatric patients.

Qualifications
A successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• At least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements
• Possess at least a high school education or equivalent (GED)
• Demonstrate a stable work history
• Pass an extensive background screening which includes, but is not limited to, criminal background checks (local, state and federal), drug test, aptitude tests, skills assessment, interviews, and personality profile (behavioral assessment)
• Ability to obtain a Security Officer License from St. Louis County

The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of relevant contract services, hospitality, military or law enforcement experience. An Associate’s degree is preferred although equivalent experience will be considered. Professional certifications (CPR/AED, IAHSS Basic Certification, Nonviolent Crisis Certification (CPI or STARR), etc.) are also preferred. We are looking for intelligent, courteous individuals with a friendly attitude, professional demeanor, great customer service skills, and the ability to communicate effectively.
