Accounts Payable - Domestic Coder

Aerotek is actively seeking an Accounts Payable Coder for a client in the Jacksonville Area. This person will be needed to effectively and efficiently complete payments and control expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling domestic job cost invoices while providing excellent customer service relationships. This opportunity will have normal business hours from 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday. Additionally their will be overtime opportunities as needed.

Accounts Payable Domestic Coder Job Duties:
* Research and code a high volume of vendor invoices in paperless SharePoint system.
* Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system report compensation schedules to balances due.
* Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; verifying and resolving invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation.
* Insuring credit is received for outstanding memos and balances due by vendors.
* Correcting job cost errors by creating memos to correct any errors identified during month end review.
* Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling weekly/monthly statements and related transactions. Research and address open activity contained on vendor aging statements.
* Respond to customer questions and needs in a timely manner.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
* Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience with accounts payable.
• Experience with Sharepoint software.
• Experience in either Microsoft Dynamics or Great Plains (HIGHLY Preferred).
• Coding to the General Ledger experience is a must.
