Assembler

This assembler will be responsible for the preparation and basic electrical assembly of military hardware that must meet DOD requirements. This candidate must be able to make process level decisions from manufacturing procedures, methods, drawings, schematics, and work instructions. They will be performing advanced electronic assembly work including board preparation, soldering, desoldering, component replacement, and touch-up work. They will also perform intermediate assembly work to include tinning, component forming, harness prep, manual component insertion, automated component insertion, and cleaning associated with the assembly of electronic components and mechanical assemblies. The assembler is the first level of inspection for the completed work to ensure that technical specifications and quality requirements are met. This assembler will NOT be responsible for any type of testing or troubleshooting.
