Job Description:
Candidates are responsible for loading, unloading, and packaging material in the extrusion department. Produces large rolls of vaccum bagging plastic film similar to large/thick plastic wrap. Heavy lifting required (team lifting if over 25 lbs). Lots of standing and walking. Will walk up stairs on 3 story blow film extrusion machine during shift. Looking for motivated candidates that are looking to learn their processes. Long term opportunity.
The positions are floaters that float from department to department. The days are monday - friday or tuesday - saturday. or Sunday - Thursday. Will stay on the same shift. Need 3 on 2nd shift (3pm - 1130pm) and 5 on 3rd shift (11pm - 730am).
Extrusion Dpet. 7pm-7am rotating shift Work Environment: This is a fast paced, industrial environment. Candidates are on their feet all shift. Qualifications: Looking for candidates with previous manufacturing experience, preferably operating machines or loading materials. Looking for candidates that are used to being on their feet all day. In extrusion the person must be fit enough to walk up and down stairs and perform lifting through out their shift. In other departments they must be able to bend down throughout the day. Performance Expectations: Candidates are measured by attitude, attendance, and capacity to learn. They will be on the floor their first day and will go through an orientation with HR on the first day as well. Interview Information: Candidates will first complete a basic math test then move to an interview with (HR Manager) then move on to the shift leads. If they pass the interview they are sent directly to a drug test and begins a background check. Candidates will start once they clear the screening. Additional Compensation: OT after 8 hours in a day. Promotes from within. Great opportunity for someone to advance with the company. Additional Information: Interview questions:
