Delaware MENTOR is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide leadership and oversight for the day to day operations of the Sussex County residential programs. As a Registered Nurse, you will ensure quality of services delivered, compliance with regulatory requirements, and overall customer satisfaction. You will manage, hire, train and build a strong team of passionate individuals to deliver our mission of providing quality, innovation and growth to the individuals we serve.

This is a fantastic opportunity with wide ranging responsibilities, allowing further development of your career path in Social and Human Services and with the MENTOR Network:

  • Oversee program implementation of health and safety programs.
  • Maintain and foster relations with case managers and residential providers and regulatory agencies.
  • Advocate on behalf of individuals receiving services and Network as appropriate.
  • Develop and maintain relations with individuals receiving services, families and guardians; implement individual support plans as appropriate.
  • Oversee program quality enhancement and develop individual program plans; coordinate Network standards, licensing requirements and individual supported needs; review and submit incident reports.
  • Implement program core growth strategy to maintain or increase census, maximize utilization.
  • Review and submit billing compliance documentation.
  • Maintain program compliance with Network and regulatory standards for clean, neat, safe working environments; ensure pleasant, age-appropriate setting.
  • Ensure timely and accurate program documentation.
  • Develop and implement functional and meaningful curriculum and activities to meet the needs of the individuals we support.

Delaware MENTOR is seeking a RN to provide nursing services, training and support to address the medical psychiatric needs of individuals with developmental disabilities, substance abuse issues and/or emotional or behavioral challenges.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) program
  • One year of related experience
  • Experience working with medically complex individuals
  • Current RN license
  • Other education and experience plus licensure as required by state
