A successful Senior Manager will have the following:

  • Proven leadership skills, a strategic mindset, a passion for innovation and agile responsiveness
  • A minimum of seven years agency/client experience
  • Superior knowledge of Direct Mail & Direct Response tactics
  • Sound analytical skills, both qualitative & quantitative; detail orientation, strong organizational skills
  • Understanding of creative development and the importance of creativity in marketing communications
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or two years related experience and/or training; and seven plus years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Whether it’s EPSN, MSNBC, or HBO we have a primary goal in mind: deliver the most compelling TV watching experience by getting our product into the households of more and more consumers. To do this, we need to effectively reach consumers with targeted Direct Mail strategies that maximize new customer acquisition within efficiency thresholds. 

 

 

The Senior Manager leads several key Direct Mail strategies, owning all aspects of planning and strategy and will report to the General Manager of Direct Marketing.  The appetite for fresh thinking in this area is tremendous and represents significant career potential. The Sr Manager will have the opportunity to redefine the Direct Mail strategies, including creative approach, targeting methodology, and contact strategy, as well as managing and developing a team.  The Sr Manager will ensure efforts have the urgency and focus to deliver on our acquisition goals, and will bring a data-driven approach to driving Direct Mail performance.

 

 

TheSr Manager will be responsible for the following important activities:

  • Manage investments to maximize new customer acquisition and deliver on growth goals
  • Guide Test & Learn agenda to drive continuous improvement in performance
  • Leverage consumer insights to evolve the creative execution and targeting strategies as required
  • Cultivate strong cross functional working relationships to ensure Direct Mail efforts are aligned with and help to build the brand
  • Work with Online Marketing team to appropriately leverage drive to web in offline efforts
  • Manage a team of junior to mid-level staff
