Maintenance Mechanic

Our Client is looking for a 2nd and 3rd shift Maintenance Mechanics to join their team!

Job Description:

• Performs all work in accordance with established identified duties for the Mechanic I position in the Pouch Line, Bio Tech, Blister Area.
• Demonstrates mechanical-troubleshooting abilities, identifies and resolves issues utilizing systematic techniques.
• Provides guidance and assistance to other mechanics in the performance of their duties.
• Posses the ability to adapt to changing work priorities based upon production requirements.

Qualifications:

• Experience from: food/beverage, bottling, packaging, and OR pharma REQUIRED
• Previous experience of 2-3 years employment with a packaging related industry within a GMP industry

Work Environment:

• Industrial, manufacturing, union environment

Pay Structure:

• With this company, there is an opportunity for a raise and a pension plan.
• After 6 months, you will be evaluated on your mechanical ability.
• Every Mechanic starts off at either $20 (Mechanic 1) or $23.50/hour (Mechanic 2) (depending upon interview) and after the 6 months time-frame, their is an opportunity to move up to: Mechanic 1 - $22.00 or Mechanic 2- $25.50, or Mechanic 3 - $27.75 (based on ability/performance).

Shift:

• 3rd shift (12:00 - 8:00 AM)
• 2nd shift (4:00 PM - 12:00 AM)
