About this job
The Electrical Technician is responsible for the install and repairs of electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical, and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment. The main piece of equipment that they will be working on is Robotic Weld Cells.
Responsibilities include:
- Read prints and translate them to panels
- Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment such as robots, conveyors, and programmable controllers.
- Diagnose, repair, and troubleshoot equipment such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures, and replaces damage or broken wires and cables.
- Troubleshoot PLCs (Allen Bradley)
75% electrical, 25% mechanical
1st shift position from 5am - 5pm
They will be working on the shop floor mostly. Some travel may be required up to 50% of the time depending on requirements.
Must Haves: 2+ years of electrical experience with large industrial equipment, panel building PLC troubleshooting, blueprints and schematics
