About this job
Warehouse/ Material Handler will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, and shipping of equipment from vendors and to customers. Most warehouse functions involve daily usage of a computer, pallet jacks, and fork lifts.
Responsibilities:
Receive equipment into building
Verify packing slip matches actual delivery and report any problems immediately
Enter into computer the P/ O #, part #, quantity received, serial #s, and tracking #s
All equipment to be received within 24 hours of receipt at dock
Store equipment
Most equipment is palletized so frequent usage of pallet jacks and fork lifts
Warehouse must be kept extremely organized and efficient
Fill customer orders
Allocate equipment based on customer orders recording part #, quantity, and serial #'s
Generate shipping lists
Ship orders via company truck, UPS, Fedex, and common carrier
Properly package equipment for safe transport
Stretch wrap pallets
Process shipping paperwork
Load trucks
Inventory Control
Ensure inventory accuracy is 100%
Record all inventory movement in the computer
Requirements:
* Excellent computer skills (30 WPM minimum)
* Very detail oriented
* Ability to lift 40-50 lbs. independently or 80-100 lbs. with a co-worker
* Hard working with a good pace
* Motivated
* Fork lift experience
* College degree a plus
Hours:
* Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm, 40 hrs/ week with occasional overtime required
