The Program Director oversee's several of our homes and employees. This would be for the Northwest Minnesota Region with the focus mainly on Crookston and East Grand Forks. This position may be supporting group homes or in home services. Candidate must have exceptional organization skills and meet the required criteria contained below. The Program Director manages day to day operations in supporting adults with disabilities with the combined revenue of around $1 million and ensures the quality of services delivered including compliance with regulatory requirements. The Program Director manages, hires, trains and schedules staff. This could be in the group home setting or for In home setting.

Qualifications

Requirements:

· Designated Coordinator recognition required, must meet a or b or c

a. Associate degree in a field related to human services and two years of full time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 or older.

b. A diploma in a field related to human services from an accredited post secondary institution and three years of work experience providing direct care services to disability or persons age 65 or older.

c. A minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to human services and disabilities; and four years of full time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 or older.


· Two to three years of experience supporting adult individuals with disabilities including emotional, behavioral, medical complexities or brain injuries

· Supervisory experience

· Must be 18 years of age

· Valid driver’s license in good standing

· Successful clearance of local and/or state background checks

· Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule including evening and weekend hours, to drive throughout Northwest Minnesota and to participate in 24 hour on-call responsibilities.

Preferred:

· Experience providing support to medically fragile individuals

A four year degree
