Concession Agent/Barista - Seasonal

This is a hands on position requiring excellent customer service skills as well as a demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced selling environment, while also ensuring our guest have a rewarding experience that will keep them coming back time after time.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Provide excellent and consistent customer service to all guests
* Greet and interact with other staff and customers in a courteous and professional manner
* Sell food items to customers
* Sell and serve non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages to customers
* Check identification of customers to ensure they meet New York State's legal age requirements for the purchase of alcoholic beverages
* Daily loading and unloading of vessels with various products
* Responsible for the vessel's daily liquor inventory reports
* Meet daily sales goals as assigned by management
* Accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions.
* Adhere to all Company policies, procedures and practices.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
* Advise Supervisor immediately of any customer, staff, crew, inventory or cash management concerns.
* Adhere to Company's daily "opening" and "closing" procedures
* Arrange bottles and other product to create and attractive and inviting displays
* Perform other related duties as required and assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
* Energetic, friendly and strong customer service/interpersonal skills
* TIPS Certification
* 2 - 4 years of customer service/sales/Food & Beverage experience
* Self-starter with ability to work independently
* Experienced in handling cash and POS Hardware
* Strong communication and mathematical skills
* Bi-lingual or multilingual skills are a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
* Lift up to fifty (50) pounds, unassisted
* Stand for long periods of time
* Bending, stretching and kneeling throughout shift.
* Ability to work with exposure to elements such as odor, noise, dust, heat, cold, or basic cleaning chemicals
