Sterile Processing Technician - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek Scientific is recruiting Sterile Processing Technicians for a Health Company in Denver, CO.

Summary:

The role of the Sterile Processing Technician is to inspect, decontaminate, assemble, wrap, disinfect and sterilize trays, container systems, linen, instruments and equipment for facility wide use according to written hospital procedures.

Essential Job Functions:

• Assist with assignments in decontamination, instrument assembly, processing, and case carts as necessary.
• Report all equipment problems to department management and to appropriate repair technician.

Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED is required
• 1 year directly relevant experience required.
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Certification by the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management (IAHCSMM) as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) OR Certification by the Certification Board of Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) as a Certified Sterile Processing Department Technician (CSPDT).
• Associate's degree in relevant field preferred.
