AutoCAD Drafter - Full-time / Part-time

A reputable Minnesota-based company is seeking an AutoCAD drafter to join their customer product team! This individual can be entry-level or a student that is preparing to graduate that can take classes during the evening and work daytimes.

ABOUT THE TEAM AND POSITION: The team is currently made up of 6 drafters/designers and works to support the customer service team. This position will be a mix between quoting and drafting; 90% of the drafting work will be in AutoCAD 2D Mechanical with approximately 10% in Inventor. Very low error rate within this team - as they draw to build. This group is also considered a "launching pad" within the company in which an employee can be promoted into other areas depending on interests.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Associates/2-year degree or certificate in a drafting/design program
• Both technical and personal skills and abilities - ability to interface with customers
• Strong attention to detail
