RF Engineer

Job Title: RF Engineer

Job Location: Albuquerque, NM

Duration: 6-7 Month Contract to Hire

Pay Rate: $60,000-75,000 (Based on Experience)

*MUST BE ABLE TO OBTAIN US SECURITY CLEARANCE*

Aerotek is currently seeking an RF Engineer to support a government subcontractor to support modeling & simulation for high power microwaves in relation to electronics. The client is seeking someone who can work with both software and hardware. Experience in a lab environment is required with standard test equipment: oscilloscopes, amplifiers, and antennas.

Education:

• BS in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or Engineering field
• Ph.D or Master's in Physics, Electrical Engineering is strongly preferred

Experience:

• Microwave systems experience, high power microwave, predictive tools.
• Experience/basic knowledge with CST Microwave Studio, HFFS, ZMax.
• Experience in a lab environment. (Internship will be considered as experience)
