Overview:

The Temporary Seasonal Associate position is a general clerical and retail position which performs any combination of the following administrative and retail merchandising duties. The Temporary Seasonal Associate requiring limited knowledge of systems or procedures, and may provide additional support to various departments within Acosta as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with retail teams to ensure proper product placement and maintain store shelf standards and inventory.
  • Check date codes and report observations to Area Manager on out-dated product and unclaimed stock, replacing decals/re-order tags or ads and placing point of purchase material.
  • Will utilize spreadsheet or presentation software to create reports or presentations to support Business Managers.
  • Will assist Sales Support and Customer Service with data entry, filing, faxing , scanning or copying documents as needed.
  • May provide support to the Analytical Services Department as needed in clerical or light administrative duties.
  • General office support and assistance with coordinating team meetings and functions.

Requirements

  • Must have High School Diploma or GED.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and administrative skills.
  • Effectively communicate with others.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
  • Ability to operate a calculator, computer, printer, fax machine, telephone, copier, shredder, calculator, and paper cutter Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to lift and carry individual cases of product, shelving, or displays of up to 60 pounds.
