As a Senior Customer Service Representative you're responsible
for providing expertise and customer service support to members, customers,
and/or providers. You'll provide direct phone-based customer interaction to
answer and resolve a wide variety of inquiries.



Primary Responsibilities:



  • Provide
    excellent customer service

  • Constantly
    meet established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards

  • Respond
    to complex customer calls

  • Resolve
    customer service inquiries which could include:

  • Benefit
    and Eligibility information

  • Billing
    and Payment issues

  • Customer
    material requests

  • Physician
    assignments

  • Authorization
    for treatment

  • Explanation
    of Benefits (EOB)

  • Extensive
    work experience within own function.

  • Work
    is frequently completed without established procedures.

  • Works
    independently.

  • May
    act as a resource for others.

  • May
    coordinate others activities.

Requirements

Requirements: 



  • High
    School Diploma/GED

  • Work
    Shift: Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm  Pacific Time

  • The
    ability to work in a Windows based environment (including basic Word, Excel,
    Outlook) is required

  • 2+
    years Customer Service experience using phone and computer as primary tools required (call center experience preferred)



Assets:



  • Associate
    degree 

  • Knowledge
    of HMO/PPO/Medicare Plans/benefits and medical terminology is preferred

  • Bilingual
    in English and Spanish a plus
