Description: General Summary:Provide administrative assistance to the COO (Chief Operating Officer) including phone coverage, screening of mail, maintaining schedules (meetings, travel, vacation, team building, etc.), ordering office supplies, and ensuring proper treatment of external visitors. Provide support with production planning/scheduling, production sequencing, project planning, and general management support.ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to accountabilities below):Coordinate and schedule meetings; maintain calendar for meetings, travel, vacation, and other events. Handle day-to-day needs of the department, such as phone coverage, handling incoming mail, ordering office supplies, filing, etc. Create reports for management (i.E. Budget vs. Actual), type letters and meeting minutes, and maintain various logs and records. Intermediate between KMMG and Korea headquarters for product and sales related topics Collaborate with team manager to assist in creation of work manuals for the education and training of team members Maintain a good relationship with other team members and in-process customers Support the development of the KMMG Business Plan Assist in the development and countermeasures for changing production conditions and/or material and equipment constraints Create reports such as daily production result, weekend work plan, holiday work plan, weekend overtime plan, and any additional reports as assigned Support activities such as managing requests, changes, reports, communication with related departments, including analysis of plan VS results, report approval creation for invoices Generate and manage supporting data for project management team as neededThe above typical duties are characteristic of this job and demonstrate a level of difficulty and are not intended to list or limit the duties that may be required or assigned to a team member in this classification.QUALIFICATIONS and JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, Competencies):Bachelor degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management or related field along with two (2) to five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferably within the automotive industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong interpersonal skills in order to manage cross functional relationships Maintain a positive environment for successful compliance with other divisions Effectively present information and respond to questions Ability to understand not only oral but also written instructions, schedules, and diagrams Ability to troubleshoot problems in a systematic and collaborative fashion Ability to travel internationally and within North America Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in both exercising company decisions and carrying out essential job duties that affect efficient business operations and its objectives, policies, practices, and conditions.Reasonable accommodations may be made to those who are able to perform the essential duties of the job.SPECIALIZED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED: Ability to work in a team environment Experience working with word processor, spreadsheet, database, desktop publishing, and presentation applications and/or software.
