POSITION PURPOSE - 

Support the Crown Bolt business by assessing format development and other retail growth opportunities.   This position is responsible for driving strategic development for Crown Bolt initiatives.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES -

Provide leadership for specific new format development based on  customers, products and geography
Lead initiative teams throughout the project lifecycle: including discovery and initial assessment, program requirements definition, creative brief, strategic financial analysis to proof-of-concept and roll out
Provide overall cross-functional team leadership of internal experts and external development support
Coordinates data from internal/external resources to design and build in a test-refine-launch rhythm
Responsible for initiative budget and goals, manage variances and communication to senior leadership
Solves all design challenges with solutions equal to or better than current business standards
Develops formats in support of retail acquisition integration

NATURE AND SCOPE -
Typically reports to report to Sr Director Marketing Operations.

Accountable for direct supervision of the work activities of others.

In addition to personnel issues -- including selection, termination, performance appraisal and professional development of subordinates.

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS -
  • 18 years or older
  • Must pass the Drug Test
  • Must pass the Background Check
  • Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable


EDUCATION REQUIRED -
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a Bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE - 10

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS -
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS -
8+ years retail strategy consulting or related work experience; 5 years in strategy consulting and managing teams desired.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS -

Ability to generate innovative insights from analysis and develop and implement new methodologies
Demonstrated ability to think globally/strategically, turn information into effective strategies & results
Ability to link strategy to financial plan, ability to be objective
Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills with proven ability to turn findings into execution Strong oral, written and formal presentation skills with ability to communicate complex ideas simply
