Financial Analyst

A successful candidate will have the following:

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or three years related experience and/or training; and three plus years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Quantitative and analytical abilities; accounting knowledge and financial/mathematical proficiency; attention to detail
• Experience spreadsheet modeling in Excel and ability to pick up new systems quickly
• Effective organizational skills and an eye for process improvement
• Ability to work in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment
• SQL experience and/or proficiency with Tableau is desirable

This Financial Analyst position falls within our Media Sales Team and will be responsible for the analysis accounting, and reporting of financial results and trends related to television advertising sales.

Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories: 

• Prepare executive-level analysis and reporting for decision-makers within the department and company
• Develop and maintain financial models and monitor key metrics (KPIs), provide projections and highlight areas of opportunity and concern
• Utilize MS Excel and other reporting tools to generate financial reporting and analysis
• Process Improvement: Improve or simplify systems, data gathering, analysis, and reporting 
• Perform month-end close accounting duties, reconciliations, and financial forecasting
• Track contractual obligations and perform ad hoc analysis upon request
• Provides gross functional support and backup for team members
