Description: Be a team player and work to provide customer service that exceeds member and guest expectations. Strive to be proactive by anticipating member needs and be prompt in fulfilling requests. Responsible for the smooth execution of the day-to-day golf operations.
Responsibilities of the position will include attending the bag room, cleaning and maintaining the golf cart fleet, and staging of the carts. The position will also entail maintaining the practice facility and overall driving range upkeep. The Outside Service Staff member will be expected to maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times. They will greet members and their guests in a polite and professional manner. This person will need to demonstrate both the ability to work independently and as a team player.
Compensation: Competitive hourly with additional gratuity income
Benefits: Meal provided (1 per work shift), Staff Uniforms, Golf playing and practicing privileges provided
Job Requirements: Seeking candidates who are motivated, hardworking, detail oriented and are interested in the golf and service industry. The candidate must have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. Must enjoy working outdoors for extended periods of time, and be comfortable working on your feet. This is an active role that requires some light physical labor, must be able to lift weight in excess of 30 lbs regularly. The candidate must have flexibility in available work hours and a willingness to work both weekdays and weekends.
Education Requirements: Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
Experience Requirements: Candidates with a minimum of 1 to 3 years of prior experience in the service industry, preferably in a private golf club environment, will be given first consideration. If you have any interest in working in the golf industry, we will train the right candidate.
