Our Exciting Work Environment

Located next to Sequoia National Park, Kings Canyon Park is composed of two distinct areas – Grant Grove (home to the General Grant tree, also known as "the Nation's Christmas Tree") and Cedar Grove. Grant Grove visitors snap photos and marvel at the sheer size of the sequoia grove. Kings Canyon is also home to Redwood Canyon, the largest remaining grove of sequoia trees in the world.

Responsibilities

· Report to duty on time, well groomed and in proper uniform

· Assist guest with removal of luggage or other personal items from vehicle

· Transport luggage to and from assigned guestroom.

· Answer guest questions regarding facility and surrounding area

· Assist guest with cots, cribs and other special needs when requested

· Assist guest with any after hour housekeeping request i.e. toilet paper, towels etc.

· Clean lobby, public restrooms and employee restrooms on a daily basis.

· Responsible for reporting all lost and found items, must be turned in and logged on a daily basis

· Follow proper radio procedures

· Follow proper company vehicle procedures

· Work in a safe manner following all DNCPR- Sequoia, Environmental GreenPath program, GuestPath service program, NPS, OSHA. Safety and motor vehicle policies, procedures and laws.

The essential functions are not all inclusive. You may be required to perform duties other than those listed above.

Qualifications

· Previous experience in a Hotel facility preferred

· Must have the ability to walk , stand, stoop, bend and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift

· Must have the ability to follow directions well

· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

· May be required to drive transportation vehicles during the shift

· Experience in customer service preferred
