Lead Regional Manufacturing Director is needed for a direct opportunity with Yoh's client located in Huntington Beach, CA.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Analyzing and planning work force utilization, space requirements, workflow, manufacturing methods, and cost analysis systems to promote process and value stream improvements
- Conferring with Planning, Quality, and Design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods meet specifications
- Collaborate with management and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes
- Coach, train and develop lean improvement team members and other personal
- Serves as technical resource to support other lean analyses, as requested
- Capture and communicate significant learnings to enable best practice-sharing and replication
- Provide lean training and assist in the creation of lean curriculum
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Have supported multiple manufacturing site (6 or more) implementation of Lean principles
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Seven to ten (7 - 10) years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer & Lean Leader
- Ability to travel up to 60% of the time assisting manufacturing with lean and production operations
- Capable of analyzing and effectively improving the overall process flow of each facility by utilizing Hoshin Kanri methodologies
