Immediate 2-4 week temporary administrative / office assistant position available in the Chesapeake area.

Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday

Description
  • Position will be responsible for retrieving all emails and faxes received from the Customer Service Department; The communication received may be product inquiries, orders, requests for product quotes or copies of Purchase Orders
  • All emails will be retrieved and reviewed and then logged and routed to the appropriate department.
  • Position will also communicate to the sender of all emails that the emails have been received.
  • Position will also retrieve all incoming faxes to the Customer Service Dept. and will log the fax on an already created Excel spreadsheet, log the date the fax was received and the company it came from.
  • Due to working in a paperless environment all faxes and copies of emails will be scanned and imaged and then forwarded to the front office for shredding.


Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1-2 years office or administrative experience required
  • Data Entry experience and knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
  • Strong attention to detail is a must.


Salary $11.00 - $12.00 per hour.
