Senior Accountant - Eden Prairie, MN or Overland Park, KS

• Bill, Invoice and manage revenue recognition
  
• Reconcile, analyze and review general ledger accounts in preparation for month end close
  
• Transfer revenue and review accounting classifications, in accordance with generally-accepted accounting principles
  
• Prepare documentation in support of external and internal audits.
  
• Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis and investigate issues providing explanations and interpretation
  
• Assist with the month end quarterly end close process for assigned businesses or groups
  
• Performs work in a self-directed manner and works with less structured, more complex issues
  
• Serve as a resource to others

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
  
• 4+ years of professional accounting experience that includes Billing experience
  
• Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
  
• Assesses and interprets customer needs and requirements
  
• Identifies solutions to non-standard requests and problems.
  
• Solves moderately complex problems and/or conducts moderately complex analyses
  
• Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Excel that includes Pivot Tables

• Contract review for revenue recognition experience
  
• Solid understanding of revenue recognition within GAAP
  
• Experience working with AccPac, Saleforce.com and/or Onyx
