Product Engineer - Full-time / Part-time

Job Description:

The company is looking for Product Engineers who will help out on a Cost Savings / Change Management project. The candidate will be responsible for Cradle to Grave Product Development with commercial products. The candidate will be performing Test analysis on the products while developing them. We do not to want someone who will be sitting and doing CAD work all day. We are looking for someone who has done true Product Development from the early stages to the manufacturing.

- Bachelor of Science in Engineering - Mechanical Engineering

- 4+ years of product engineering / project engineering experience.

- 1+ years of design engineering experience using CAD (ProE preferred).

- 2+ years of consumer products experience or plastics, injection molded products.

- Proven track record of leading and executing projects for durable consumer goods (on-time, on-cost, on-budget, on-specification).

- Experience with DFMEA and developing test to support design validation.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

- Experience leading projects with domestic and Asian suppliers.

- Effective planning/organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task and set priorities.

- Evidence of taking initiative and/or leading projects.

- History of working independently and as a member of a team.

- Strong problem solving skills with evidence of systematic approach for identifying problems, root-cause analysis, and implementing the "fix".
