About this job


Supervisors must have a working knowledge of, and ability to perform and train the job duties of their subordinates, in addition to the following
supervisory duties:

-Supervise the activities of proprietary and contact officers
-Schedule officers and staff as needed
-Maintain training schedules and requirements for officers
-Review and recommend revisions to post orders
-Requisition, interview and hire staff
-Ensure employee certifications are current
-Conduct shift briefings with arriving officers
-Assist subordinates with personal development needs
-Conduct required desk reviews, performance evaluations and ratings
-Submit recommendations for disciplinary action and terminations
-Provide termination assistance and escorts as needed
-Conduct domestic violence interviews
-Conduct NEO presentations
-Schedule and conduct evacuation and other drills
-Serve as Department BCP planner or representative
-Prepare, review and disseminate required access reports
-Liaison with contract management and vendors
-Liaison with local fire and police departments
-Maintain membership in network associations
-Ability to work varying shifts and be on-call for emergencies
-Ability to travel for training and assignments

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree
2-4 Years
