Remedy Intelligent Staffing is seeking an Industrial Electrician for a company in the Dodge county area. This position would be 12 hour shifts from 6pm-6am. It would be a 2-2-3 schedule and would work every other weekend. This is a Direct Hire position.
Responsibilities
-Diligently endeavor to add value to the organization, the department, and the team by performing all tasks required to support the Production group in the efficient operation of the plant.
-Develops and maintains the application of power and control systems to integrate with existing electrical systems; includes equipment modifications and upgrades as well as preparing for plant equipment expansions.
-Ensures accurate and reliable electricity for the plant by recommending, sourcing and installing electrical protection and control devices.
-Optimizes plant electrical systems and production performance by collaborating with electrical, mechanical, and production personnel in a team environment to proactively identify and solve performance issues.
-Serve as mentors and tutors by proactively increasing other team member contributions through training, on-the-job development, and coaching.
-Continuously seek out additional value-add opportunities for the organization.
Requirements
-Understanding of power and controls cabling and proper installation
-Demonstrated knowledge and experience in plant power systems, industrial networks and automation
-Fundamental understanding of harmonic distortion and power quality, and its effects on power and control systems
-Demonstrated experience in installation and all aspects of electrical systems, from 480V power to 4-20ma loop, including EtherNet IP, ControlNet and DeviceNet
-Ability to read and interpret equipment wiring and piping diagrams
-Relevant computer skills needed for completing calibration programs and navigation of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
-Strong working knowledge of PLCs, DCS, and VFD in an automation environment
