Assistant Warehouse Supervisor
Purpose:
This position is a line supervisor reposting to the General Manager. The primary purpose is to monitor the real-time productivity and efficiency on the warehouse floor.
Responsibilities:
Assist with supervision of daily activities to ensure smooth operations, identifies needs, and receives direction from Operations and Purchasing Department
Supervise and manage cooler personnel
Makes recommendations to management and communicates all areas of accountability and performance of personnel.
Fosters a cooperative working climate to maximize employee efficiency and productivity
* Interaction with Operations Department and Purchasing Department.
Special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous supervisory experience is required
Management Skills and experience with perishable goods required.
Ability to handle multiple time-sensitive responsibilities and prioritize appropriately
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
High degree of attention to detail and organization
Strong written and oral communication skills. . Computer literacy required (E-mail, General Business software).
General clerical and administrative experience
Ability to handle sensitive/confidential information
Spanish is a plus
