*Analyst, “R” Brands*

*Position Summary:*

The Global "R" Us Brands Team is responsible for developing Private Label merchandise for the Toy, Apparel and Juvenile segments that are grouped into a number of globally recognized brands, as well as marketing that merchandise to our stores around the world. The Analyst lives within the disciplines of IT, Finance, Operations and Product/Brand Development while playing a key supportive role in numerous projects aimed at continuously improving and driving the business processes and tools of the Global "R" Us Brands Team in order to achieve flawless execution across global markets. The Analyst reports to the Senior Analyst.

*Key Tasks & Responsibilities:*

*Line Development Process (25%)*


* Partner with all Product Development team members on line plans and support of line development process.
* Contribute to the construction of key management reports that accompany the line development process.
* Proactively partner with Vendors, China Sourcing Office, MP&A, Merchants and Logistics.
* Communicate process expectations to a global audience
* Identify, resolve and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
*Budget (40%)*


* Assist in the organization of all “R” Brand budget tools
* Contribute to the financial, operational, and statistical analyses that optimize business performance specific to product development efforts.
* Assist in gathering monthly accrual and reclassification of information which is submitted during the first week of each month.
*Collaborative Tools and Processes (20%)*


* Administrator and IT liaison for Global Community for the following third party systems:

o PLM

+ Business team liaison to IT
+ Provide ad hoc support for PLM which impacts over 450 users in more than 9 countries.

# Support the day to day activity of PLM users
+ Create, test, and implement enhancements that boost user productivity.
+ Assist in training all users.
+ Key contact for vendor communication.

# Assist in the onboarding of new vendors/users.
* SharePoint

o Site administrator for all of “R” Brands.
o Manage document libraries.
o Responsible for space and archive management
* WebPDM

o Key liaison to IT and future super user of the system.
o Support all of “R” Brands Apparel Team with any questions or issues with the system.
o Create enhancements to increase the efficiency of the system.
o General testing such as new server compatibility.
* Spearhead and execute any special projects handed down from senior management.
* Administrator for Global Community for the following grass roots systems/processes:

o Green Light Tool
o Toy Milestone Tracker
o Apparel Milestone Tracker
o Juvenile Milestone Tracker
o Apparel Development Calendar
o Apparel Costing Sheet
o Apparel TD WIP Report
o Apparel Fit Art Chart
o Packaging Line Review Template
o Product Review Tool
o PO Change Log (owner of site and tool).
* Mine data and model operational performance metrics.
* Develop and maintain the trust and confidence of others and foster the cross-division/function collaboration needed to achieve goals.
* Support strategic initiatives. Provide cross-functional direction and leadership with guidance, analysis, and advice on key strategic decisions.
*Strategy / Leadership / Talent Enhancement (15%)*


* Lead continuous improvement efforts for third party and grass roots systems and processes.
* Participate in the mid-range and long-term business plan development process and communicate to the department regarding planning issues.
* Maintain an active interest in and sound understanding of Global R Us Brands and products.
* Cultivate flexible and open communication that fosters teamwork and facilitates consensus building among team members.
* Seek out additional responsibilities and opportunities to improve the Global R Us Brands team.

* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics or a related field strongly preferred.
* Entry level Business and/or Financial Analysis experience, preferably with product line focus.
* Intermediate quantitative skills and experience with planning or forecasting.
* Ability to mine existing databases for information, to conduct basic analysis and meet ad hoc reporting needs.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel to support data aggregation and manipulation; ability to develop MS Access skills is a plus.
* Familiarity with process documentation, requirements gathering, and project management.
* Experience collecting and synthesizing large amounts of information.
* Should be highly collaborative and comfortable with strategic and tactical execution.
