Civil/Site Engineer (Savannah Office)
Our client is currently seeking a Civil/Site Engineer to work in the Civil Site Design Department in Savannah, GA. Candidate will be expected to interact with clients and successfully prepare site development construction drawings, engineering design considerations for water, sewer, and storm drainage infrastructure, and permit applications associated with residential, commercial, and/ or industrial projects. Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D software is preferred.
This position will be responsible for development of preliminary design reports, engineering calculations, technical reports, permitting, construction drawings and project specifications. The engineer is expected to perform work within assigned budget, schedule and quality requirements and be able to successful manage a project from concept through construction.
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- 4-5 years of related experience
- Hold a Georgia Professional Engineering license
- Ideal candidate will have excellent communications skills and established contacts in the local development and municipal markets.
- Highly proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D
