Web Developer and Data Analyst - Full-time

This position supports the Sales Division. 

A successful Analyst/Developer will have some or all of the following:

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year College or University, preferably in Computer Science or related field; or two years related experience and/or training; and four plus years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge and experience coding in at least one the following languages: Java, C#, C++
• Web development skills preferred with experience developing with: Jscript, JavaQuery, CSS, HTML
• In-depth knowledge of JEE technologies such as JDBC and Servlet.
• In-depth knowledge of ASMX Web Service and XML technologies.
• Knowledge of MS SQL Server.
• Familiar with Tableau, CSG Billing, Netezza, or TeraData is a plus.
• Willingness and ability to learn other languages and skills based on need: the ideal candidate will have the experience and knowledge from this position to grow into a full-stack developer in several yaers.

As part of the Direct Sales Operations Team, the Developer will be responsible for the Development and gathering of requirements for initiatives of our internal facing website. This includes designing and implementing solutions for Sales Team members to view daily and hourly reporting. Others areas of responsibility will be developing tools for our internal customers to be used daily, as well as maintaining and amending the current importing of data from Data Warehouse using Java implementation of various connections to SQL and other data sources.

Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:

• Designs and develops web services to support high volume transactions.
• Maintains existing functionality of web based tools and applications and develops new features in web based tools and customer self service applications.
• Maintains and develops back-end integration services interacting with Data Warehouse to import  reporting on compensation calculation data for our internal customers.
• Assists Direct Sales enterprise in the release of projects by: providing high efforts on assignments, coordinating resources for development, analyzing complex business requirements, gaining user insights, and producing high quality design documents and code.
