The Legal Assistant is responsible for Franchise processes and legal responsibilities as described below: In this position you will also serve as the main point of contact. This position involves continuous interface with various parties, therefore is essential to possess top-notch people skills in a multi-cultural environment. * Franchisee Contract Management: Prepare new contracts, addendum's, renewals, changes and terminations. * Manage maintenance of Franchise-specific compliance documentation: Daily, ensure required forms and documentation is on file, current, readily available for review, and compliant with all Franchise guidelines. * Review contracts after completion of training program. Responsible for obtaining required signatures. * Franchise Policies & Procedures: Must become knowledgeable with franchise Agreements. Responsible for keeping company in compliance and educating staff on policies and procedures. * Act as Attorney liaison for all corporate legal matters. * Legal Contracts: Review all documents and contractual agreements between company and our business partners. Exercise independent judgment with respect to matters of concern and make recommendations. * Review upper management credit card and expense reimbursements: Familiarize self with Reimbursement Policy, review upper management credit card/expense reports and forward to CEO for final approvals. You MUST HAVE THESE REQUIREMENTS to be considered: * Minimum 2 years' experience in a franchise legal setting preferred * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Proven ability to work independently and under pressure * Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP and SharePoint preferred * Strong work ethic and positive attitude * Excellent organizational, time management, and keen attention to detail
