We are looking for someone that can use 3D Cad Design and use machine components(Mills). (Measure tolerances) They will assemble wire harness and use hand tools (Micrometer)to check and reengineer. They will be checking drawings as required by process design group, continuous improvement, or error proofing activities.
Design & construction of wire harness assembly jigs
Design & construction of wire harness continuity (electrical) testers
Proficiency in milling machine operation (This is only preferred have)**** Cad 3D is the must have

MUST HAVE:
1.3D cad (autocad/Inventor, solid works, doesnt matter what package) 2. Mechanical apptitude (Machine operation is bonus)

Follow all Company Policies, Procedures, Instructions and record keeping requirements
Initiate action to prevent problems relating to products, processes and the quality/environmental management system requirements
Identify and record problems found using the Corrective and Preventive Action process
Control further processing until the problem has been corrected
Assist in verifying the implementation of effective corrective and preventive action process
Represent the needs of the Customer when making Quality decisions
Negotiate price for work performed by outside fabrication shops.
Supervise and coordinate work performed by outside fabrication shops.
Design, and build tooling needed for production that will improve production times and quality
Machine components for tooling.
Design and maintain equipment and jigs, which promote ergonomics and safety.
Recommends and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, error proofing, and quality of product
Assist in analyzing and resolves machine problems.
Performs set-up of new equipment.
Interprets specifications, blueprints, drawings and schematics.
Analyzes and programs PLC?s
Repairs and maintains Continuity Checker control boxes.
Assists with customer and internal corrective action activities.
Design and build continuity checkers.
Maintain suitable work environment promoting quality, teamwork and the 5S philosophy.
Follow all company safety rules.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Tooling Supervisor.
Work overtime as scheduled.
Work Environment: Will be working in the office/cubical and will have to walk back into plant. Business Casuial dress is fine. Will be required to wear protective eye where in the plant Qualifications: 2-year degree from college or technical school or 3 years experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Performance Expectations: Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude
Applying Engineering principles and analytical techniques to continually improve tooling used in our manufacturing process
Design & construction of wire harness assembly jigs
Design & construction of wire harness continuity (electrical) testers
Proficiency in milling machine operation
Good problem solving skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Working knowledge of Microsoft computer programs
Basic electrical & electronic knowledge
Good mechanical background & understanding
Technical College degree or equivalent job related experience
Experience with CAD software
