Security Timeline Coordinator

The Timeline Coordinator will be assigned a portion of the Physical Security Vendor Review (PSVR) timeline which consists of initial assessment, validation/risk acceptance and reassessment timelines. Duties are comprised of monitoring the PSVR assessment timeline to include tracking of due dates, maintaining appropriate documentation, and updating information within database. This activity consists of the following:

  • Responsibility to monitor and report on assigned portion of the PSVR timeline to PSVR management

  • Ensure adequate evidence is gathered to document that due diligence activities have been completed

  • Assist in the development and ongoing maintenance of the timeline processes to improve overall efficiency of PSVR due diligence activities

  • Assist PSVR vendor owners in preparatory activities associated with scheduling physical security assessments. This includes but is not limited to:

    • Staging and pulling PSVR questionnaires from online tool

    • Creating assessment agendas

    • Assisting in review of assessment forms

    • Proof reading memos, policies and procedures

    • Assisting in communication between PSVR and DFS business groups

    • Updating database and reporting spreadsheets


Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have at least 1+ years of experience in the security field. A college degree (Associates or greater) is preferred although equivalent experience will be considered. Candidates must demonstrate a stable work history and pass an extensive background screening which includes, but is not limited to, criminal background checks (local, state, and federal), drug test, aptitude tests, skills assessments, interviews, past employment verification, and a personality profile (behavioral assessment).

  • Must have strong attention to detail and a willingness to spend a significant portion of time creating, reviewing and issuing of documents

  • Must have strong experience utilizing Microsoft Access and Excel

  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Highly organized and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously

  • Ability to work and communicate well with others

  • Previous experience working with security systems and procedures
