Office Assistant

Staffmark is working with a great client in the Groveport area who is looking to fill two temp to hire roles. These positions will be day shift 9am-5pm and include Saturday and Sunday with the flexibility for two days off between Monday and Friday. They are looking to have someone start immediately so apply today!

Daily management and coordination of shipments

Establish and coordinate schedule with carrier

Track and trace all shipments

Update and maintain warehouse/transportation management system

Prepare and publish daily, weekly reports

Perform analysis on performance trends with root cause and corrective action

Proactively identify problems and swiftly implement the appropriate solution

Answer and resolve billing questions when needed

Confirm rates with carriers

Perform other duties as request or assigned

Responsible for cost containment of shipment

Evaluate shipments, consolidate loads, select most cost effective method of delivery

Lane analysis required on order to select most appropriate mode

Ability to provide 24 hour response

Daily communication with customer on relevant issues and resolution
