Forklift Operator Truck Loader & Inventory Storage

We have a opening for a Forklift Operator Truck Loader & Inventory Storage.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

Manpower is looking for: Forklift Operators/ Truck Loader & Inventory Storage Workers Work location: Holbrook, Ma Working hours: 8:00AM to 4:30PM, Monday-Friday for 26 x weeks Hourly rate: $14 JOB REQUIREMENTS *Operating a forklift to pull a wide variety of items from inventory *Work from ship tickets to pull items from inventory to be loaded on trucks. *Unload Incoming truck shipments, report shortages, transport materials to proper storage area, store, stack and arrange for first in first out use. *Check fluid levels, tires and overall operating condition of the forklift before beginning operations each day *Maintain forklift operations each day *Background and RMV check a JOB SKILL REQUIREMENTS: *Detect when products do not meet quality standards and machinery does not meet operational standards. *Develop very good knowledge of inventory sizes, types, colors and pallet counts. *Know locations and general quantity of all block and resale inventory at all. *Perform frequent arithmetic operations to calculate quantity of units per tier, per pallet and per stack. *Detect product colors and not be colorblind. MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS * Able to lift concrete products and other objects weighing up to 70 pounds each, at heights from floor level to 4 feet high. *Function in workplace environmental conditions including, but not limited to, cold, heat, bright sun, noise, and nuisance dusts. *Have good depth perception, color discrimination, and peripheral vision. *Have good hearing for safety reasons. SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES * Carefully follow lifting and back safety rules when handling pallets, concrete products and other inventory. *Operate industrial trucks or tractors equipped to move materials around a warehouse, storage yard, factory, construction site, or similar location.
