Accounts Receivable and Collections Representative

Well-established National company is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable/Collections Clerk for their Sacramento division. Expertise monitoring and collecting receivables are mandatory.

Candidate “must have” characteristics:

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Professional, personable, and diplomatic demeanor

Highly organized and accountable for actions, duties and job details.

Duties:

Cash applications/Post payments

A/R transactions/ DCC

Call customer on a daily basis (40+ calls per day)

Verify and resolve discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from Sales and Service departments and the customer

Daily data entry and Excel reporting

Filing

Skills:

Comfortable working with numbers on a daily basis; strong basic math skills

Strong Attention to detail

Excellent phone manners and customer care skills

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Proficient in Microsoft Outlook

Ability to handle high volume and deadlines is important

Organizational skills and thoroughness

Previous experience in Accounts Receivable or debt collection

Previous experience in a call center environment, a plus

$14-16/hour per hour depending on experience
