The Packing & Shipping Clerk - Dispensing is responsible for accurate prescription dispensing and provides a high level of quality while maximizing productivity.

Responsibilities:

  • Fill / Label prescriptions
  • Pack filled prescriptions (cold pack, box pack, vial pack)
  • Replenish shelves and automated dispensing machines
  • Track inventory
  • Operate automated machinery
  • Constantly meet established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards while maintaining a good attendance record
  • Stocking shelves (may include lifting up to 30 lbs)
  • Moving boxes from station to conveyor belt (may include lifting up to 50 lbs)
  • Frequent and lengthy periods of working on your feet
  • Use of hands/fingers across keyboard or mouse to operate automated machinery, and handling other objects

Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Some experience using office machines
  • Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system application
  • An education level of at least a high school diploma or GED OR 10 years of equivalent working experience
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Available to work 40 hours per week within the operation hours of the site (Sunday - Thursday 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM) and overtime as required according to the needs of the business
  • Ability to remain focused and productive each day though tasks may be repetitive
  • Continued employment is contingent upon successful Pharmacy Technician licensing and registration

Work Environment:     

  • Automated production environment with moderate to high noise level due to machine activity
