Primary Responsibilities:
  • Enters assessment information for Initial and Mid Pregnancy assessments directly into client systems in support of Critical state Medicaid programs for Centene clients.
  • Conducts Initial Health Assessments IHAs associated with our Health Coaching programs as needed.
  • Processes Physician Feedback and Complaints/Escalations.
  • Reviews, interprets and process Physician feedback regarding our Care Alert Product. Determines and routes critical medical information to clinical departments as needed.
  • Handles physician complaints received through the Care Alert feedback forms, determines appropriate actions and enters into Alere Service Recovery systems as needed.
  • Escalates potential HIPAA violations as a result of misdirected Care Alerts. Assists management and Compliance Officer in researching such issues as necessary.
  • Performs General Device Support Functions: Reviews returned Device Prescriptions from physicians. Determines appropriate actions, follows up on incomplete/illegible prescriptions, follows up with physician office as necessary, and post prescription information in participant record.
  • Researches client disenrollment actions, including accessing client systems to confirm Health Plan eligibility status.
  • Conducts device retrieval outbound calls as necessary to return devices from the field.
  • Maintains Engagement/Compliance in Alere's Device Monitoring DM Programs:
  • Conducts outbound calls to confirm status when device data is not received from participant, and determine proper course of action for resolution of issues.
  • Conducts follow up for patients on Temporary Absence for Device Monitoring and coordinates with clinical staff to ensure proper assessments are completed prior to returning to monitoring.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • 2+ years of Customer Service experience analyzing and solving customer problems.
  • Must be able to create, edit, save and send documents utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Must be able to navigate a PC to open applications, send emails, and conduct data entry.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working within the Healthcare Industry in a Hospital, Physician's Office, or Medical Clinical setting.
  • Experience working with Healthcare Insurance.
  • Professional experience in a Clerical or Administrative support related role.
  • Working Knowledge of Medical Terminology to communicate with members and providers.
  • Experience working with ICD-9 and CPT codes.
  • Experience working with Medicare and/or Medicaid Services.
  • Experience working in a Call Center environment.
  • Bilingual.
