Presently WIS International is seeking a highly motivated System Administrator to join our team.

Under the general supervision of the Director of IT Infrastructure, the Systems Administrator analyzes, develops, implements, maintains, monitors and troubleshoots server hardware and software, and the systems infrastructure running our mission critical applications. The successful applicant will focus on making sure that the needs of current and new customers are met from a stability and performance perspective.

JOB DUTIES:

· As part of the infrastructure team, support and operate a complex production network environment across multiple data centers, two head offices as well as connectivity for 2000 remote users.

· Additional tasks include desktop support at the Corporate Headquarters; troubleshooting hardware, software & network operations (PCs, printers, monitors, etc.).

· Monitor/maintain servers and network infrastructure.

· Analyze appropriate metrics across all production environments, along with input from customers and the internal development team to understand the impact that new functionality has on the performance of the WIS International systems.

· Create and maintain documentation for software, hardware and network administration.

· Communicate technical issues in a clear and concise manner.

· Given the 24x7 nature of WIS International business, this person will be required to work after hours and on weekends when necessary and provide on-call support for production related systems issues on a rotating basis with other team members.

JOB REQUIREMENTS :

Education: Degree/diploma in computer science, information technology, networking or equivalent certifications.



Experience: Minimum of two years of related experience, preferably in company data-center.

Skills:

• 2 years relevant work experience in high availability, server environment.
• Hands-on experience preferred with current technologies including: PowerShell, Windows Server 2008/2012, Active Directory (2012), MS Exchange 2010, Office 365, VMware, Windows 7/8, BES Server, Sharepoint, SQL Server, Linux.
• Production networking expertise with TCP/IP, LAN and WAN operations.
• Networking expertise in Cisco router, switch, VPN ASA and firewall setup, configuration and management.
• Antivirus, malware and spam protection software and wireless networking.
• Experience with Citrix/Xenapp applications.
• Hands-on experience in a data center, working with servers, SAN, NAS, iSCSI , FTP, LTO tape library.
• Proven technical documentation ability with MS Visio, Word and/or other suitable tools.
• Familiar with scripting and other automation techniques.
• Familiar with Network Monitoring Tools such as Nagios.
• Telephony technology experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Must have transportation to travel day/night to the data center and work after hours for projects and installations.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Willing and available for on-call (after hours) rotation, some weekend work and understand the obligations of participating on a team that provides 24x7 support.
