Production Sewer

Staffmark is currently recruiting for production sewers in the Vonore area! Dayshift positions Monday thru Thursday 6am - 4:30pm. Overtime may be required at times! Competitve pay starting at $10/hour!
The production sewer will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Inspection, binding, zipper installation, material inspection, and snap installation and inspection.
Qualifications and Physical Requirements are as follows:
Ability to lift/push/pull 16 pounds
Ability to lift/push/pull parts weighting up to 1.5 pounds frequently
Ability to lift/push/pull final product weighing appx 8 pounds frequently
Ability to operate industrial sewing machine which requires use of hands, feet, and knee.
Ability to sit at sewing machine most of the workday - with required standing several times per hour to fold fabric
Ability to read patterns, engineering books, and communicate
Good hand/eye coordination and previous sewing experience
Basic reading, writing, and math skills required
