Resident Assistant- Nursing Center

We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Resident Assistant- Nursing Center.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

Manpower is assisting a local client in their search for a Resident Assistant at a Marquette Nursing center. Job Title: Resident Assistant Pay: $8.15 per hour, 40 hours a week, multiple shifts available Job Summary: Assist nursing staff with fundamental duties by sitting with residents requiring one to one assistance. The primary responsibility of the Resident Assistant (RA) is to assist residents who are functionally, physically, and/or socially impaired and need 24 hour oversight. The RA's role is to assist residents with those activities of daily living that they are unable to perform without help. Requirements: -Ability to lift 50 pounds -Ability to effectively and respectfully communicate with residents, family members, co-workers, and supervisory personnel. -Ability to support and promote resident's rights, including privacy and confidentiality. -Ability to reference and adhere to facility's policies and procedures.
