CNC Lathe/Mill Set Up Operator Machinist - Full-time

CNC Lathe / Mill Setup Operator Machinist Job Responsibilities:
Produces machined parts by setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.
CNC Lathe / Mill Setup Operator Machinist Job Duties:

Machine parts to provided drawings and work instructions.

Verify and submit first article part to inspection. This includes the completion of a first article inspection report.

Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements. This includes notifying immediate supervisor of all machine problems.

Record dimensions and conditions of parts per company provided sampling plan.

Document condition of machine and parts produced. This is required for shift transfer and communication.

100% visual inspection of every part produced is required.

Parts must be treated with care at all times. (handling procedures must be followed.

Must be able to lift 50lbs minimum.

Must be able to stand for the duration of shift.

Must have basic tools. (calipers, micrometers, allen wrenches etc)

Must have experience in aerospace. (3 years minimum)

Must have Lathe experience
