A successful Business Operations Analyst will have the following:

 

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university, preferably in Business Administration or Economics; or 3 to 4 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience is a plus
  • Must be able to work as an individual contributor, as well as a member across a diverse group of teams
  • Be detail oriented and comfortable managing multiple projects
  • Have a great deal of initiative by being proactive and flexible through daily work and identifying creative solutions to produce results
  • Demonstrate the ability to think strategically by planning and anticipating future implications, thinking broadly, and understanding the long term impacts of decisions
  • Intermediate-level skill and experience with Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Excel, Word preferred

The Business Operations Analyst will be part of a team heavily involved in billing operations and process improvement projects. A successful candidate will have strong written and verbal communication, as well as the ability to manage multiple assignments. Work will be a variable combination of analysis, business requirement writing, project coordination, and process improvement initiatives.

 

Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:

  • Coordination of multiple projects across various teams and departments from initiation through implementation
  • Support the department Subject Matter Expert(s) to fully understand processes and their impact on the overall business by analyzing, drawing conclusions, and implementing process and system enhancements to create efficiencies, improve the customer experience, and/or reduce costs
  • Establish and maintain fluid communication to all impacted parties within both our department and others
  • Produce clear and concise business documentation regarding project status and progress
  • Serve as the liaison between Billing & Credit and the other departments impacted by the project(s), which may include presenting projects and results to various groups
  • Ensure that the delivery of the project meets the required quality standards expected
