Treasury Manager

We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Treasury Manager.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

Manpower, Inc. of SE Michigan is currently seeking a treasury manager for our client in Ann Arbor, MI. This is a direct hire position paying $100-110K per year (DOE). The selected candidate will provide leadership and direction for all aspects related to the cash management area. This includes the development and management of systems for the effective and efficient consolidation of cash, payments of obligations, cash forecasting, management of the investment portfolio, and the maintenance of banking relationships. Job duties include: * Supervising the generation of daily management reports related to cash management and cash flow forecasting. * Directing cash management operations to include daily cash consolidation, disbursements, and funding of obligations. * Carrying out asbestos and product liability reporting. * Handling insurance placement (property, casualty etc.). * Performing long-term (13-week cash forecast) and short-term cash flow and balance sheet forecasts and analysis. * Reviewing and driving improvements in cash management, ensuring financial obligations are met in accordance with company policies and procedures. * Assisting in the development of financial policies and capital structures to include liquidity analysis, debt leverage, and strategy. * Maintaining relationships with transaction banks, including profitability analysis by bank. * Assisting in managing relationships with credit rating agencies. * Supervising the protection, custody of funds and record keeping and accounting for all cash. * Maintaining all documentation, monitoring and testing of internal controls for the treasury area in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley 404 requirements. * Serving as the Oracle treasury and cash management project lead. Preferred qualifications: * Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university. * Seven to ten years of related experience and/or training in treasury preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. * Knowledge of the principles of cash management in a corporate environment. * Knowledge of accounting concepts and financial statements. * Knowledge of banking and electronic transaction systems. * Proactive in identifying efficiencies and process updates. * Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) preferred. * Exceptional work ethic and integrity. * Ability to adjust priorities in a fast paced work environment. * Effective oral and written communication skills. * Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
