Duties Cultivate the next generation of successful quality assurance leaders at Aarons via thoughtful, high-touch mentorship and coaching.  Practice servant leadership daily.  Focus on the growth and well-being of your team. Ensure the alignment of the Aaron's quality assurance organization to the core strategic goals of the entire Aaron's organization as a whole Set, and manage to, the strategic direction of the Aaron's quality assurance team.  Things like, what are the skills gaps on the quality assurance team and what is our strategy to shore up those gaps?   What is Aaron's mobile testing strategy?  What is Aaron's automated testing strategy? Be a champion of the Aaron's IT core values and help your team understand how to apply them to their daily activities Work collaboratively with the project services organization in the allocation of quality assurance staff to projects and initiatives Work collaboratively with delivery team peers (development, facilitator, business stake holders, and product managers) to ensure effective and timely delivery of quality assurance deliverables Cultivate and maintain the quality assurance staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training quality assurance team members. Manage the day to day administrative needs of the quality assurance staff Provide regular feedback to team and individuals on performance Position Requirements 5+ years overall professional experience working on software quality assurance teams 2+ years professional experience working on agile quality assurance teams Serious people leadership chops. Mentorship is the most important aspect of this role. Previous hands on quality assurance experience highly preferred.  You won't have to dive in and get your hands dirty, but you need to be able to talk the talk Experience testing large scale, enterprise software preferred Mobile testing experience required Automated testing experience required Familiarity with lean software delivery techniques and engineering techniques including continuous integration and continuous delivery Excellent team skills.  Able to balance technology need, business need and sustainable process. Excellent communication skills to form great working relationships with highly technical folks as well as non-technical folks. Driven/self-motivated with a strong desire to continuously improve themselves.
